Lithium batteries are divided into exceeding power lithium battery and non exceeding power lithium battery

A lithium battery CELL power is over 20WH or lithium battery PACK power is over 100WH defined as exceeding power battery and dangerous goods (Note: lead acid battery is non DG whatever the power is)

lithium battery need to provide MSDS, UN38.3, TRANSPORT CERTIFICATION  on international logistics. exceeding power battery transportation must be packaged in UN carton box or UN wooden box and provides the corresponding  Syndrome of dangerous package beside the 3 certificates.

The certification required for energy storage system shipping mainly includes:
1. Lithium battery pack information: MSDS, UN38.3, transportation  report
2. Energy storage system certification: MSDS, Transportation Certification, Hazard Classification and Identification Report
3. Classification Society Certification (Container Certificate)
